Registered Nurse Practitioner Angela Mann, APRN began caring for the patients of pulmonologist Naem Shahrour, MD, from the main location of the Watson Clinic at 1600 Lakeland Hills Blvd. in Lakeland. Mann in the past worked with endocrinologist Khanh T. Pham, MD. New role together with Shahrour, Mann will counsel and treat patients with a variety of conditions, in addition to pneumonia, asthma, emphysema, COPD and other respiratory problems. Mann earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from the University of South Florida in Tampa. Fellow of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, and the Polk County Association of Advanced Practice Nurses.
Diana Braswell, MD joined the Department of Dermatopathology at watson Clinic’s Bella Vista Building, 1755 N. Florida Ave. , Lakeland. Braswell earned her medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina. He completed his residency in anatomy and clinical pathology at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa and his scholarship in dermatopathology at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, his experience spaces come with research into melanomas and skin neoplasms, he is qualified in anatomical pathology, clinical pathology and dermatopathology.
Tammy Gebo-Seaman, DO, joined the gastroenterology branch of the two Watson Clinic Highlands at 2300 E. County Road 540A in South Lakeland and Watson Clinic Main at 1600 Lakeland Hills Blvd. in North Lakeland. Gebo-Seaman earned his doctorate. in osteopathic at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, completed her in-house residency and internship in gastroenterology at Largo Medical Center in Largo, is qualified through the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American College of Physicians.

Carla Savinon won the Florida Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Tutor of the Year award. University and taught at Bartow Regional Medical Center, where he now works with academics.
Jonathan Floyd joined Bartow Regional Medical Center as Director of Patient Care Services on September 28 and earned his bachelor’s degree in nursing from South Carolina Medical University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Francis Marion University in Florence, South Carolina. She continued her studies with a master’s degree in nursing at the University of Wilkes and lately is completing a PhD in nursing at Wilkes.
Don Crutchfield, a registered nurse, appointed a Nurse Daisy in July at Bartow Regional Medical Center and works in the acute care unit.

Nicci Lambert joined Winter Haven Women’s Hospital as Director of Patient Care Services on September 21. Lambert began as a nursing technician at the age of 19. Lambert graduated as an associate in nursing from Polk State College and then earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of South Florida, earned her master’s degree in family circle, nurse practitioner from the University of the South, also holds a registered nursing degree in neonatal nursing and is a qualified breastfeeding consultant. At WHWH, she previously worked in the maternal and child unit and schooling departments.

Lakeland Regional Health has opened its emergency care center on its Pablo campus, 130 Pablo St. , just south of Southgate Shopping Center. This is Lakeland Regional Health’s emergency care center at the moment. This new center provides immediate service for situations such as sprains, burns, colds and allergies, while offering complex CT and on-site diagnostic radiology studies through radiology and imaging specialists. Watson Clinic Center for Research is one of approximately 30 national partners in a new clinical trial sponsored through the TIMI Study Group, a collective of researchers at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston. The test evaluates the effectiveness of blood thinners to save blood clots in COVID-19 patients who entered the intensive care unit Patients who are critically ill with COVID-19 and who, as a result, have been admitted to the Lakeland Regional Health Intensive Care Unit, will have the opportunity to consent to participate The test uses two drugs widely available and approved by the FDA : an anticoagulant and clopidogrel, a commonly prescribed medicine designed to prevent blood platelets from sticking together and forming clots. The test is led by Watson Clinic pneumologist and lead researcher Naem Shahrour, MD, pneumologist Thane Htun, MD, and nurse practitioner Amber Peterson, APRN.
