Santa Barbara County added new instances of COVID-19 on Monday, bringing the county’s total to 1,1602 cases displayed as of November 30.
The number is almost 400 more than the number of 11,205 cases reported when county figures were last published last Wednesday.
Thirty-three others are hospitalized, adding seven patients in resuscitation. Health officials say another 11,056 people have recovered.
Santa Barbara County also reported Monday the death of a user between the age of 50 and 69, who according to fitness officials lived in Santa Maria and had underlying fitness problems.
Santa Barbara County had 136 deaths attributed to COVID-19.

Three loose coronavirus sites are open to the net in Santa Maria, Buellton and Goleta.
