Major Hixson Space: former Earth Fare on the market

A Hixson grocery shopping center is located at the market where two grocery retail outlets were once used as landmarks.

The 39,705-square-foot Earth Fare Mall is located in downtown Hixson at 5414 Hixson Pike.

Built in 1983, the middle has a sale worth $3 million, with 357 feet head-on on the busy road.

The center offers a repositioning opportunity, according to Marcus’ Lori Schneider and David Gant

The Earth Fare organic food supermarket chain opened its Hixson Pike store in the fall of 2016 and the shopkeeper set up the new store where he once housed the Grocery Harvest Organic Supermarket, which closed that year.

But in early 2020, North Carolina-based Earth Fare announced the completion of all of its stores. At the time, the shopkeeper spoke of the demanding situations facing the retail sector and its inability to refinance its debt.
