First Lady Melania Trump issued her survey with her face uncovered at a Florida network center on Tuesday, according to images from the polling place.
Late Tuesday morning, the First Lady arrived to vote at the Morton and Barbara Mandel Recreation Center in Palm Beach, Florida, more than 3 miles away from the President’s Club Mar-A-Lago.
Members of her security service and an election official who accompanied her to construction wore masks.
Stephanie Grisham, spokeswoman for the First Lady, told The Associated Press that Trump was the only user voting at the time and joined only through his own staff and several election agents, all of whom had undergone prior coronavirus testing.
NPR noted that an emergency ordinance in force in Palm Springs requires the use of masks in many public spaces.
Trump tested positive for coronavirus in October with her husband. President Donald Trump also voted in Palm Beach, the era of early voting in Florida. She was photographed dressed in a face mask at the time.
