Austrian police said an attack in Vienna on Monday night referred to six crime scenes: one user was killed and several wounded, adding a police office. One of the perpetrators was shot dead, according to police.

There were unconfirmed reports that they were being held hostage at Akakiko Restaurant.

A Hilton hotel is reportedly one of the terrorists’ targets.

But a Hilton spokeswoman said: “Following reports of a security incident in Vienna, our three hotels have closed as a precautionary measure. “

“We are in touch with all 3 hotels and do not have up-to-date data to recommend that our visitors or hotel team members be concerned about the incident. “

There are six blows in Vienna’s attack on the state station ORF.

All places are in the vicinity of the street that houses the central synagogue, said a spokesman for the Ministry of the Interior.

The head of the Jewish network, Oskar Deutsch, tweeted that it is unclear whether the Vienna synagogue was the target of the attack because it closed at the time.

He tweeted: “We cannot say right now whether Stadttempels one of the objectives.

“What is certain, however, is that the Seitenstettengasse synagogue and the construction on the same front were no longer in use and were closed at the time of the first shots. “

Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte tweeted his for Austria at this frightening moment.

He wrote: “A horrific attack near a synagogue in Vienna.

“I have conveyed the full solidarity of Holland to @sebastiankurz.

“After France, it is a friendly country that is attacked.

“This is our Europe, our enemies want to know who they’re dealing with.

“We probably wouldn’t give up on anything. “

The president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, tweeted her support.

She wrote: “I am shocked and saddened by the brutal attack that took place in Vienna.

“My mind is with the families of the sick and the Austrian people.

“Europe is in total solidarity with Austria. We are more powerful than hatred and terror. “
