When the Miami Dolphins shortened their roster to the 53-player limit on Saturday, they traded with the Las Vegas Raiders to bring up one player, rookie Lynn Bowden Jr., although his résumé is more like that of 3 players.
The Dolphins acquired Bowden and a sixth-round pick from the Raiders in exchange for the fourth-round pick Miami had just won from Las Vegas by supporter Raekwon McMillan.
Bowden was the Raiders’ third-round pick in this year’s Kentucky Draft, which was placed as a catcher even though he ran for 1,468 yards and went on for 403.In his alleged daytime work, Bowden had 348 yards at reception.
Put it in combination and it’s 1,816 scrum yards, an average of 8.9 consistent with the attempt.
Even that is not all. Bowden also averaged 24.4 yards on punt returns and 13.3 yards on punt returns. He won the Paul Hornung award as the most flexible player in school football.
“I have a lot of talents,” he told Fresno Bee. “I will play no matter what position I want to play. I will never just bet one position because I can do anything.”
Bowden returned to his quarterback position at best school last season and was 5-2 as Kentucky’s starter due to injuries from other Wildcats pins.
Your school’s nickname suggests what will have to be an intriguing option for dolphins. If they want to run wildcat, Bowden averaged 7.9 yards consistent with bringing in last season.
Bowden weighs five feet 11 and 204 pounds.

Bowden’s last schoolboy, one of his most memorable performances, ran 34 times for 233 yards and threw a 13-yard landing pass with 15 seconds to play to beat Kentucky 37-30 at the Belk Bowl.
Bowden hit Virginia Tech in more than one tactic. The gang showed him in a pre-match fight and gave the impression of hitting a Tech player.
“It’s a lot of excitement,” Bowden said.We respect Virginia Tech, and if it could happen, I wouldn’t.”
The effect Bowden’s arrival could have on Malcolm Perry, the Dolphins’ seventh-round national team this year was not clear without delay, which inspired coaches in many roles Bowden could play.
