President Donald Trump criticized Matt Drudge Tuesday for a banner on the Drudge about the president’s refusal to move on to Walter Reed after having mini-hits.
To summarize briefly, New York Times reporter Michael Schmidt has published a new ebook with some main points about Walter Reed’s visit.After the president insulted himself by opposing rumors that he had mini-hits, Schmidt said his eebook “says nothing about mini-shots.”
Trump’s crusade then pointed to a tweet from CNN political analyst Joe Lockhart asking if Trump had a stroke, it’s not easy for the network to fire him.
Drudge, meanwhile, ran with Trump’s denial, and also added a video of the president dragging his leg a little awkwardly.
Drudge’s banner caught the eye on social media and finally reached the president himself, who tweeted: “Drudge didn’t listen to me in 2016, and I heard it didn’t.not me now. Maybe that’s why it’s so bad.Your fake news report on the Mini-Strokes is incorrect.Maybe thinking of himself or the “candidate” of the other party.”
