New coronavirus sites will open in Renton, Auburn

RENTON, WA – Public Health – Seattle and King County are opening two new coronavirus sites, presenting a style used in Seattle to loosely and immediately supply communities that have been disproportionately affected through COVID-19.

The last two driving sites will open in Auburn on Tuesday, September 1 and Renton a week later. In between, public fitness officials expect more than 1,500 citizens a day.

“We need the other people in Auburn, Renton and all of King County to use those sites and other test sites in their communities so they can keep themselves and those they enjoy safe,” said Dow Constantine, King County Director. Before flu season arrives, we will need to do everything we can to lower the degrees of COVID-19 in our region.

While the number of new instances has recently increased in King County and much of the state, the rate of transmission remains well above target grades in the state’s top-populated county.Public fitness officials have focused on the southern tip of the county, where viral activity has been found to be high.

County officials expect the new sites to provide a less difficult way to get tested in under-neglected communities, especially those who would possibly be at increased risk of infection because of their work.

“If you take a look at public fitness data, and if you look at Metro Transit data, you’ll see that the component of this challenge is that many other people who are a must-have staff and others who help keep our network running live in southern King County,” Constantine said. So, in doing so, they face greater threat and want more evidence.”

At Aburn, verification will be operated and delivered through paramedics from the Puget Sound Regional Fire District and neighboring departments. In Renton, the verification installation will be operated through HealthPoint.

All tests will be processed through local laboratories, through UW Medicine and Atlas Genomics, which will minimize the time it will take to download the effects.County officials said each patient achieves its effects in two days.

Pre-registration is recommended to minimize waiting times, however, public fitness officials say no evidence will be denied.
