A coronavirus control site burned down and injured through one of the security guards on duty.
The closed control tent in Mernda, north of Melbourne, caught fire around 10:35 pm on Monday.
Two security guards at the Waterview Recreation Reserve saw the chimney and contacted the emergency services.

Three crews from the chimney site attended to extinguish the chimney site (the broken control marquee shown above) and one of the security guards was treated for a minor smoke inhalation.
Fire Rescue Victoria was quick to go to the check to put out the fire, causing minor damage to the appearance of the canopy.
A spokesman for the country’s Fire Authority told Daily Mail Australia that 3 responded to the Waterview Drive fire.
