The U.S. Emergency Petroleum Reserve.Suffers ‘considerable’ damage caused by Hurricane Laura

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The U.S. Department of Energy said Monday that the Strategic Oil Reserve’s West Hackberry site “had suffered extensive damage” from Hurricane Laura and that detailed estimates of the damage caused will be released later this week.
