Long Beach passes 100,000 COVID-19 tests

LONG BEACH (CBSLA) – The Long Beach Department of Health and Human Services has conducted 100,000 COVID-19 tests at city-run sites, a critical need for the COVID-19 pandemic and has exceeded state requirements.

“Long Beach is committed to making the COVID-19 check available to anyone who wants it,” Mayor Robert Garcia said.”COVID-19 is still a new virus and it is certainly imperative that we continue widespread control to remain our network secure.”
