Structured in recent years as a series of open days throughout the state, the Tour has been redesigned for a socially estranged and completely virtual audience.Photos and videos of solar houses and businesses in communities across the state are now available on the tour website., where visitors can also sign up for Zoom live tours scheduled from 10am to 3pm on Saturday, September 26.With 10 features, the tours will offer the public the possibility to interact and ask questions of homeowners and other enthusiasts.
Virtual tours are expected to give thousands of people across Illinois a marvel of renewable energy. Participants will obtain valuable data on the costs, processes, economic and environmental benefits of solar energy. Illinois is in the midst of a solar boom with the implementation of new legislation, making the Tour a wonderful way to be informed about the opportunities presented through technology.
