Brookfield Housing and ASM Global beat developers to build new stage

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Mayor Kevin Faulconer announced Saturday that Brookfield Housing and ASM Global have been selected to build an entertainment district in the Midway domain that includes a new sports stadium, thousands of housing units, parks and outlets.

“This assignment will be so amazing for this city in the coming years,” Faulconer said at a Saturday morning news convention with other network leaders in the Pechanga area, the 48 acres of the 54-year-old sports stadium on 3500 Sports Boulevard.Arena in the Midway neighborhood.
