Mr. Hertzman joined AFG in 1991 and has held expanding positions of responsibility in the company’s finance and accounting spaces during his tenure of nearly 30 years.Prior to that, he served as VICE President and Comptroller of AFG, overseeing accounting policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP and other applicable regulations, as well as monetary reports to the Securities and Exchange Commission.In June 2020, Mr. Hertzman was appointed CFO and Interim Accountant.
Mr. Hertzman earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Cincinnati and a master’s degree in finance administration from Xavier University.He is a chartered public accountant (CPA) in the state of Ohio and a member of the American CPA Institute, the Society of Accounting Public Accountants and International Financial Executives of Ohio.He also serves on the board of trustees of Camp Livingston, a nonprofit network camp serving the Cincinnati metro area.
