The free coronavirus is back in the Fox Valley, while two sites in Oshkosh and Menasha will open this week.
Two driving locations, operated through the Wisconsin National Guard, will be available:
Anyone over the age of five with symptoms of COVID-19, which now comes with fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, runny nose, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, chills, muscle aches or loss of taste and smell, can be tested No need of others living in the domain of the 3 counties and minors must be accompanied by a relative.
Pre-registration is done before a stop at the site and can be completed in register.covidconnect.wi.gov. The tests proposed are diagnostic tests and not antibody tests, which means the effects will tell you if you have recently been infected.
The effects of the test must be gained by email and/or phone within 3 to 7 business days, a press release from the Winnebago County Health Department said Monday. It is vital to restrict contact with others while waiting for the effects if your check is positive, he said.
Each site will have a capacity of 500 tests.
The loose check is a collaboration between the City of Menasha, the City of Appleton and Winnebago, the Department of Health in Outagamie and Calumet counties, as well as UW-Oshkosh, the Red Cross and emergency control groups in the 3 counties region. More data can be discovered at the Menasha City Health Department and the Winnebago County Health Department matrix
