BayCare closes Tropicana Field COVID-19 check behind the wheel

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – BayCare Health System announced Thursday the closure of two Tampa Bay sites: Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg and Gulf High School in Pasco County.

BayCare said Friday, July 31 will be the last day of COVID-19 for any of the sites.

Starting Monday, August 3, BayCare and the Florida Department of Health in Pasco County (DOH Pasco) will open a new check at Gulfview Square Mall at 9409 U.S. Highway 19, Port Richey. It will open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

BayCare and Pinellas County are also applying to open a new driving checkup at a more available location for citizens in downtown and northern Pinellas.

BayCare explained in a press that these service adjustments were made to align “resources with the desires of networking work and to paint more strongly with government partners.”
