WOMAN MAN SPRAYED WITH PEPPER BY NOT WEARING FACE MASK IN SAN DIEGO DOG PARK, EATING IN A RESTRICTED AREA: REPORT
The gym did not comply with the state’s mandate to operate only on fitness facilities.
Health officials ordered the closure of the facility last week, but they refused.
“For some companies, there are many steps to doing so,” said Dr. Wilma Wooten, the county’s public conditioning officer, according to Fox40. “We’re running with them to close, and they [closed] on Monday.”
The San Diego Police Department said it had issued a quote to the company for violating the public fitness order.
Eight outbreaks were reported on the network on Tuesday: five bars and restaurants, one from a manicure salon and one from a residence. In the last seven days, 20 network outbreaks were confirmed, KPBS reported.
Meanwhile, the county has reported a recent build-up in coronavirus cases, with a total of 28,005 cases and 547 deaths.
