PITTSBURGH – Fyda Freightliner Pittsburgh Inc., on 20 Fyda Drive in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, will launch a new Mobile Repair Service (MRS) program on Monday, August 3. The service will have a normal business hours from 8 a.m. to five p.m. From Monday to Friday, an emergency call must be made 24/7.
Fyda Pittsburgh’s MRS program is designed to create a greater partnership with consumers by providing more facilities to their businesses.
“We, that cellular service, will raise the price and comfort to our consumers. We hope that MRS will be an extension of our store’s features and that our consumers will find some other wonderful option to reduce downtime,” said Brian Conkle, Service Manager.
The core of the MRS program is the service vehicle itself, a Freightliner M2 106 2020 with a fully supplied traditional service truck rack for a full diversity of truck repair and preventive maintenance. Warranty maintenance, recalls, product bulletins, diagnostics and repair Array MRS Fix and preventive maintenance will also provide emergency maintenance and roadside assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It will be performed through trained and qualified factory repair technicians.
Fyda Freightliner Pittsburgh is a qualified Elite Support qualified full-service racer of new Freightliner and Western Star trucks and Freightliner Sprinter vans, and has a stock of all used vehicle brands.
Serving at the Pittsburgh Transportation Center since 1996, Fyda Freightliner provides comprehensive vehicle repair and maintenance at the service branch and 55-bay frame shop, in addition to the new MRS program. The dealership also includes a professional heavy truck retail store, a serving service that sells more than $1.6 million in original portions and all brands of advertising truck portions, as well as sales of new and used trucks.
Fyda Pittsburgh MRS will need to carry out warranty maintenance to:
Freightliner, Western Star and Freightliner chassis vehicles;
Detroit, Cummins and CAT diesel engines;
Detroit DT12 and Eaton broadcasts;
Essieux Detroit, Eaton and Meritor; And
ABS Wabco and Bendix systems.
Fyda Freightliner Pittsburgh’s MRS program is limited to existing customers.
“We took a look to partner with new consumers who were too far from us to use ours in the past. We plan to eliminate the challenge of getting quality dealership service through our cellular repair service,” Conkle said.
