MOSCOW – British Airways is expected to resume flights to Russia on 2 August, the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency announced Friday, as Russia considers restarting some scheduled flights on Saturday.
International flights were blocked on 30 March following the imposition of blocking measures to curb the spread of coronavirus, which has inflamed some 840,000 more people in Russia.
The first scheduled flight of the Russian Aeroflot will fly from Moscow to Istanbul on Saturday. Aeroflot is also making plans for two flights from Moscow to London on 1 August (report through Andrey Ostroukh edited through Chris Reese)
