Thorpe Park remains open despite attempted murder at the scene

Thorpe Park will remain open to the public today after assured visitors that the assassination attempt on its website was “too isolated an incident.”

The theme park said he felt confident that he had installed mandatory defense procedures and the safety of his visitors and staff after a man in his 20s suffered a serious abdominal injury after a match between two groups.

Yesterday, the Surrey theme park closed between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. after the guest was ‘seriously injured’ at the altercation on the bridge near the exit.

Later, two 20-year-old men were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, Surrey police said.

The injured guest is recently being treated in the hospital for life-threatening injuries and the incident is never being treated as terrorism-related.

In a statement today the theme park said: ‘Thorpe Park Resort will remain open as planned today, Sunday 19th July and we look forward to welcoming guests with pre-booked tickets to the Resort.

We would much love consumers more than the incident in the compound after two other Americans was too isolated an incident.

“The health, safety and defense of visitors and staff is our main goal. We have an overly wise defense record and we never had incidents of this kind in over 40 years, with millions of visitors in this period.”

‘We feel confident we have the necessary security procedures and measures in place to keep our guests and staff safe.’
