Rite Aid opens Drive-Thru coronavirus test on Oceanside

OCEANSIDE, CA — Rite Aid is expanding its COVID-19 testing capacity with nearly 100 new drive-thru testing sites opening Thursday across California, including one in Oceanside.

Control can be done to adults, if the individual has symptoms, according to Rite Aid. Results are expected in 3 to five days, an Apple spokesman said.

Sites will use swab nasal tests overseen by Rite Aid pharmacists. Sites will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to five p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Through its collaboration with the Huguy Department of Health and Services, Rite Aid will now serve a total of 258 verification sites in 13 states, with the force of performing approximately 94,000 checks per week at all sites, according to the company.
