More than 650 more Americans tested positive for the virus meat processing plant in the northwest city of Gotersloh.
Operations on it have been suspended since Wednesday afternoon.
So far, more than 1,000 employees have been evaluated and thousands more are looking for evidence.
They and people who have been in contact have been told to quarantine until they achieve their results.
A spokesman on the block that operates the site, the T-nies Group, apologized.
In reaction to the outbreak, the local government suspended the region of schools and day care centers until the end of the month.
Chancellor Angelos Angeles Merkel said he “welcomed” measures to prevent the spread of the virus region.
The Germabig apple has been widely praised for its handling of the epidemic. Despite having the largest population in the EU, the Germabig apple has so far recorded 9,000 deaths.
On Wednesday, the country announced that the ban on the primary festivities will continue until the end of October.
This is never the first time a meat processing plant has been at the center of a coronavirus outbreak.
Last month, the Germabig apple approved an offer banning transit personnel at slaughterhouses following a wave of infections in Munich and Coesfeld, North Rhine-Westphalia.
This has allowed us to refocus on poor operating conditions in the sector, with meat staff taking a position in shared households.
Other countries have also experienced outbreaks in slaughterhouses, adding France and the United States, where staff from no fewer than two food mills died in outbreaks.
